Volunteers are needed to teach Junior Achievement curriculum to elementary students as part of the 2nd Annual Jacksonville MoneyWi$e Week held April 29 – May 3, 2013.
MoneyWi$e Week is a week of activities and events celebrating the importance of good money management and providing financial education designed to help us all become more wise about money. The Week will offer programs, classes and activities for all members of our Jacksonville community, of all ages and income levels.
Community volunteers have the opportunity to spend an entire school day in a classroom to inspire and prepare students to succeed in a global economy. Volunteers will use the professional curriculum developed by Junior Achievement to lead five lessons which contain an introduction, hands-on activity and lesson summary.
Volunteers are needed at the following schools:
John E. Ford on Monday, April 29 (grades K-5)
Biscayne on Tuesday, April 30 (grades K-5)
R.V. Daniels on Wednesday, May 1 (grades K-2)
Windy Hill on Wednesday, May 1 (grades K-2)
North Shore on Thursday, May 2 (grades 3 – 5)
Windy Hill on Thursday, May 2 (grades 3 – 5)
San Jose on Friday, May 3 (grades K-2, 4 – 5)
